COMBINATION SIGNAGE
The selection of combination/multipurpose signage convey more than one instruction and message. These signs together bear a combination of warning, several types of hazards under one sign. Signage is so ingrained in our collective minds because most of the time in our daily activities’ signs direct us, remind us of and even inspire us to make decisions and thinks in right way. Like symbols, colors of sign can help quickly communicate a message with just a glance. Red is reserved for danger signs and labels. Orange used to alert people the fact there are dangerous parts of a machine or equipment. Yellow signs are used anywhere that caution needs to be used, specifically physical hazards. Green is safety related and means there is no danger present. Blue Provides information about a particular item or area. Black & White Used for guiding traffic or telling people which direction to go. Providing clear communication through signage is a great way to eliminate that barrier between cognitive overloads.
